CEAT has announced that its Sustainmax-VF tyre has been nominated in the Environmental Achievement of the Year – Tire Design category at the Tire Technology International Awards 2026.
Sustainable Tyre Concept
Initially presented at Agritechnica2023, Sustainmax-VF represents a breakthrough sustainable tyre concept from CEAT, combining VF technology with over 80% sustainable materials, sourced from bio resources such as natural rubber, rice husk silica, bio-based resin and recycled materials like recovered carbon black and polyester from scrapped PET bottles.
The awards will be presented on the first day of Tire Technology Expo 2026, taking place in Hannover, Germany, from March 3 to 5, 2026.
