At Cereals 2026, Trelleborg Tires showcased its TM1000 ProgressiveTraction®, TM800 PowerFlex, and TH500 tyres, highlighting advances in efficiency, soil protection, and high-load performance for modern arable farming.
Cereals 2026 Industry Focus On Efficiency And Soil Health
Trelleborg Tires welcomed growers, contractors, and machinery professionals to Stand 639 at Cereals 2026, held on 10–11 June at Diddly Squat Farm, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. Discussions at the event focused on improving field performance, protecting soil health, and maximising machinery efficiency through advanced tyre technology.
As one of the UK’s leading arable farming events, Cereals once again provided an ideal platform for engaging directly with farmers and contractors looking to optimise productivity while managing rising machinery weights and operating costs.
VF Tyres Improving Traction, Load Capacity, And Soil Protection
Taking centre stage on the stand was the VF 650/60R38 TM1000 ProgressiveTraction®. Visitors showed strong interest in its patented ProgressiveTraction® technology and advanced VF-PFO construction, which enables greater load-carrying capacity at lower inflation pressures during demanding field operations. This combination delivers enhanced traction, reduced slippage, lower soil compaction, and improved fuel efficiency. Its eligibility for Trelleborg’s certified 5,000-hour tread wear guarantee also attracted significant attention from growers seeking long-term value from their tyre investment.
Also featured was the VF 540/65R28 TM800 PowerFlex, which drew interest from visitors looking for solutions that combine productivity with soil protection. Equipped with VF-PFO technology, the tyre carries heavy loads at very low inflation pressures in field conditions, helping to reduce soil compaction while maintaining strong road handling and operator comfort.
Durable Telehandler Tyres For Demanding Farm Operations
Completing the display was the 460/70R24 TH500, which showcased Trelleborg’s offering for telehandler applications. Farmers and contractors operating loaders discussed tyre performance in demanding yard and material-handling environments where durability, traction, and stability are critical.
David Miller, Managing Director UK & Ireland at Yokohama TWS, said: “Cereals is always a valuable opportunity to engage directly with progressive growers and contractors. This year, we saw strong interest in solutions that help farmers improve efficiency while protecting soil health.”
