Michelin Sustainable Mobility Pact

Michelin continues to take steps in its commitment to sustainability and advances on its roadmap to ensure that its tyres are made with 100% sustainable materials by 2050

Michelin Joins the Companies for Sustainable Mobility Platform

Demonstrating this commitment, Michelin Spain Portugal has joined the Pacto por la Movilidad Sostenible (Pact for Sustainable Mobility), a meeting point for more than 50 companies, institutions and public administrations that are committed to promoting sustainable mobility, contributing to the 2030 agenda and sustainable growth from an economic, social and environmental point of view.

By joining to this platform, Michelin has also signed the Pact for Sustainable Mobility, which aims to promote change based on 10 principles on which any commitment to sustainable mobility of any organisation must pivot, facilitating the taking of action and helping to establish joint actions to achieve the objectives set by Europe.

Mónica Rius, Director of Communication for Michelin Spain Portugal, highlighted during the signing of the Pact for Sustainable Mobility on behalf of Michelin; “In the words of the president of the Michelin group, F. Menegaux: In the Michelin of the future, everything will be sustainable. Michelin‘s collaboration with Companies for Sustainable Mobility, and with the entities that are part of this platform, will allow us to more quickly reach the Total Sustainability that we seek”.

For her part, May López, Director of Development of Companies for Sustainable Mobility, affirmed; “The fact that emblematic, benchmark companies with a great impact on mobility such as Michelin are joining our platform will help us to advance faster and more efficiently.”
