Nokian Tyres Acquires Further Property in Nokia, Finland

The total floor area of the building is approximately 27,000 square metres, and it is directly connected to Nokian Tyres’ headquarters and the Nokia factory. After the acquisition, Nokian Tyres has close to 150,000 square meters of space along Pirkkalaistie.

"We are very pleased to acquire more space for our use. The use of the property has not been decided yet, however, larger spaces allow us more flexibility and opportunities to plan future operations and growth in Nokia", says Manu Salmi, Executive Vice President, Heavy Tyres and Nokia factory.

Nokian Tyres announced in June that it had bought three hectares of land in the vicinity of the Nokia factory. By acquiring the land and property, the company intends to secure future development opportunities at the Nokia factory.
