Hankook attended Transport Compleet 2021 in Gorinchem, which was held between 28-30th September. The manufacturer showed a range of new truck tyres, such as the SmartFlex AH51, SmartFlex DH51, Laufenn tyres, as well as Hankook’s SmartLife concept.
Hankook Keen to Get Back to Business with Seventh Consecutive Year Attending Transport Compleet Fair
After a long period of delays in conferences, Hankook made sure to take the opportunity to demonstrate its range of bus and truck tyres at Gorinchem once again. Hankook Sales Director for Benelux, Hielke van der Scheet said of the event, "It was nice to be able to meet our relations in-person again, after two years due to the Covid-19 measures put in place."
Explaining the variety of the product line, van der Scheet added, "We had many different products to show at the event, including our SmartFlex AH51 and DH51 tyres. Both tyres meet the latest standards of durability and are suitable for all seasons. The tyre is suitable for retreading and is equipped with specialist 3D technology. Our retread products, namely the Alphatread range will also be promoted. These tyres form the retread range, which is Hankook's latest offering as they increase the lifespan of tyres by 250 per cent, along with Hankook’s SmartLife concept. As well as a large Hankook display, Laufenn tyres will also be represented at the fair."
Hankook Ready to Unveil New Truck and Bus Tyres
Visitors to Transport Compleet also had the opportunity to see Hankook’s range of bus and truck tyres, including the e-cube MAX DL20W truck tyre. The e-cube tyre is efficient when it comes to saving on fuel and has low rolling resistance, so it’s a suitable tyre for long distances.
The Laufenn brand, Hankook’s secondary tyre brand is well-established within Benelux. Both the LF22 and LZ22 tyres were displayed at the trade fair. The LF22 is suitable for regional loads, while the LZ22 serves as a tyre for the steering axle on regional transport. The LF91 also made an appearance. This tyre is suitable for regional trailer transport.
As fleet managers are looking to save on costs where possible, Hankook will also display a regrooving tyre, the Alphatread R-TH31 as well as the SmartFlex TH31. The SmartFlex series is particularly ideal for medium to long-distance journeys. The tyre has also proved popular in the Benelux market thanks to its durability and tough rubber compound.
