Goodyear and UFODRIVE Announce Strategic Partnership

Together, both companies will seek opportunities to integrate their complementary mobility solutions, including the Smart Tyre Monitoring System, Goodyear’s Proactive Solutions Suite, and UFODRIVE’s advanced eMobility software as a service platform.

Goodyear and UFODRIVE will also conduct research designed to optimise vehicle utilisation and service by maximising energy use, saving tyre replacement parts costs and minimising fleets’ carbon footprint impact.

“Working with UFODRIVE is a unique opportunity for us to expand Goodyear Total Mobility’s successful fleet solutions from our commercial truck and bus business to the rapidly evolving electric vehicle passenger fleet landscape,” said Hakan. Bayman, President of Goodyear’s European Touring Tire Business. “We anticipate that the general demand for shared mobility services will continue to grow in the coming years, with a particular emphasis on contactless solutions.”

Launched in 2019, Goodyear Total Mobility is a comprehensive fleet offering that brings together premium tyres and a suite of data-driven monitoring and predictive analytics solutions to provide fleet operators with real-time information on tyre performance, including pressure and temperature.

UFODRIVE has developed and tested its eMobility platform offering an enhanced car rental experience in eight countries and 17 locations in Europe in less than two years.

“Working with a world-class mobility company like Goodyear enables UFODRIVE to expand its mission of providing a seamless transition to electric mobility for shared fleets,” said UFODRIVE CEO Aidan McClean.

“The electric revolution is accelerating and we are delighted to be partnering with Goodyear to pioneer unique aspects of SaaS, such as maximising fleet utilisation, energy savings, and electrically optimised routes for fleet owners.”
