Michelin and OnTruck Offering Exclusive Advantages to its Transporter Networks

Michelin

Michelin has signed an agreement with OnTruck to offer exclusive advantages to more than 3,000 transport professionals that integrates the network of collaborators of the online platform for the transport of merchandising and goods by road.

Exclusive Advantages Offered by Michelin and OnTruck

Initially the agreement will apply to the Spanish market, although the objective is to extend it to the rest of the countries where the company operates in the form of the UK, Holland and France.

Thanks to this agreement, the hauliers of Ontruck will be able to obtain economic help whilst purchasing Michelin truck tyres. Furthermore, at the point that the purchase is registered in the Michelin Myportal platform, users will receive 40 points on their personal account on Michelin&TuNegocio, the Michelin loyalty programme for transport professionals. Through this programme Michelin delivers independent transporters and small fleets higher levels of security and profitability in its operators through promotions and applications that help optimise fleets through a series of exclusive advantages enabled through Michelin&TuNegocio.

The signing of this agreement goes in hand with the commitment of Ontruck to improve the professional conditions of its hauliers through a system of optimisation of its routes, loading and of a technological platform that allows them to take advantage of the maximum capacity of its vehicles, thus enhancing its services and optimising its costs. As a part of this objective, this year the company has embarked on a strategy of agreements with large companies whose activity is related to the sector related to the transport of merchandising and goods by road. This is with the hope of being able to offer these professionals another series of complementary benefits.

Íñigo Juantegui, CEO and Ontruck co-founder states, "we  are very content with having launched our alliance policy with a reference company such as Michelin, who day after day are focused on improving road safety through their constant commitment to innovation in their tyres. With this agreement our hauliers will not only be able to get exclusive advantages, but also will be able to access a product of the highest safety. This is something that is hugely important to us."
