Universal Goes ‘Live’ with e-jobsheet Siebel Integration

CAM
Universal Tyre & Autocentres have become the first tyre service provider to take advantage of the e-jobsheet Siebel integration.

Universal Tyre & Autocentres Ltd is the first commercial tyre service provider to go ‘live’ with the e-jobsheet link into Bridgestone Europe’s Siebel system directly from CAM’s UniSerV platform.  The integration will deliver greater shared accuracy between the parties as well as improve the speed and visibility of job processing.

With 70 per cent of Universal’s tyre services immersed in the commercial sector, the direct connection between e-jobsheet and Siebel will allow the group’s data entry to be mapped automatically for Bridgestone related work, saving keying in time and administrative costs.  This framework enables all commercial transactions to be completed in both company systems from the data received within seconds of job completion from a fitters’ tablet.

John Folliss, commercial sales and marketing director of Bridgestone Northern Region Europe, says, “This is an excellent development and is the result of a lot of hard work and collaboration between all parties. The integration to Bridgestone’s fleet management software not only meets the Bridgestone Partner requirements but also provides immediate operational information to the Fleet.”

Simon Wright, commercial director at Universal Tyres and Autocentres says, “We now benefit from a complete cradle to grave solution that delivers greater visibility and transparency and eradicates our reliance on dual processing, paper and unwarranted administration.”

Steve Daly of CAM International also commented, “Universal has been vocal in its ambition to connect directly into BSEU systems for the benefit of both parties.  It’s testament to Universal’s vision and commitment that e-jobsheet and UniSerV are now foundation stones of its business to achieve its commercial objectives.”
