BestDrive has launched a digital advisory service to help its franchisees improve their online presence, increase conversion opportunities and manage their reputation.
BestDrive Digital Service
The BestDrive digital initiative analyses data generated by the network’s Google Business Profiles, which have become an important digital shop window for workshops. The service currently covers nearly 100 workshop profiles, with initial results showing that Google is not simply a source of information but also a starting point for actions directly linked to service bookings.
The profiles included in BestDrive’s analysis recorded an average of 444 interactions per workshop in July, including around 240 calls, more than 140 requests for directions and approximately 60 clicks through to the workshop’s website.
Activity remained high throughout the summer, with more than 38,000 actions recorded in June and nearly 40,000 in August. According to BestDrive, the figures show that Google searches closely follow the real-world cycle of workshop visits.
“The value is not in the data itself, but in what it allows us to do with it,” said Ana Gómez, Marketing Director of BestDrive Spain. She added that knowing a workshop receives more than 200 calls a month through Google changes the focus from simply having an online presence to identifying potential customers lost through incomplete profiles, outdated opening hours or unanswered reviews.
Customer reviews provide a second source of information for the service. So far in 2026, BestDrive has analysed around 1,400 new customer reviews, with an average rating of 4.53 out of five. Around 94% of the workshops analysed have ratings between four and five stars, while the remaining 6% are rated between three and four stars.
Beyond ratings, BestDrive analyses the reviews to identify the factors shaping customer experience. Positive feedback frequently highlights friendly and professional service, speed, advice and value for money. Trust is also a recurring theme, with many customers highlighting their loyalty to individual workshops and willingness to recommend them.
The service is designed to turn this analysis into practical support for workshops, with BestDrive hoping to help its franchisees improve their digital presence and interpret their results to make decisions about published information, visibility and customer experience.
“Google is now the workshop’s digital shop window. But our goal is not simply for our franchisees to have a presence there; it is to help them understand what is happening behind the data and how they can use it to improve their business,” Gómez said.
