Alliance will present its six application-specific forestry solutions at Interforst 2026, highlighting the 643 Forestar III and the radial 668 Forestar III for mixed forest-and-road use.
Supporting Forestry Operations
From 15 to 18 October 2026 at the outdoor stand FM.811/8, Alliance will show the 331 and 328 for forestry trailers, the 643 Forestar III and 644 Forestar III ELIT for forwarders and harvesters, the 345 for skidders and the 668 Forestar III for agro-forestry tractors.
The Alliance 643 Forestar III has become a choice for many forwarders and harvesters, including machines that work with tracks. Herbert Hainfellner from Lower Austria uses the tyre on a John Deere 1270G harvester in the Gutenstein Alps, where his team regularly works on slopes of up to 48 degrees.
“We work about 90% of the time with tracks. They have to provide stability and reliable traction when working on these steep slopes,” says Hainfellner. After 3,000 operating hours, he reported that the close fit in the tracks, stability and low downtime had confirmed the decision.
Alliance 643 Forestar III features a flatter tread profile, horizontal grooves and wide shoulder lugs that support track fit and lateral stability, including a reinforced casing, steel belts, reinforced bead and forestry compound that provide protection against punctures, side impacts and rim slip. Alliance will display size 710/45-26.5.
Alliance 644 Forestar III ELIT features a multi-angle tread and wide centre blocks for traction, stability and ride comfort. Its ELIT construction and broad tread create a stable footprint for load support and soil protection. Track fit depends on tyre size, track system and operating setup and should be checked for the intended application. The displayed size at Interforst 2026 will be 710/45-26.5.
The Alliance 668 Forestar III is a radial tyre designed for agro-forestry tractors that divide their time between forest terrain and the road. Reinforced sidewalls and steel belts provide protection against punctures, while strong shoulder lugs and a wide footprint support stability and ground protection. Mud breakers aid self-cleaning, and the multi-angle lug design combines traction on loose soil with road comfort. Alliance will display size 710/55R34.
Alliance will also display the 331 tyre in size 500/60-22.5 and the 328 in size 500/55-17 for forestry trailers. The Alliance 345 in size 28L-26 is designed for skidders, feller bunchers and forestry mulchers, featuring a 23-degree lug angle and reinforced undertread, thick sidewalls and steel belts for traction and protection in rough terrain.
