Sailun Tyre and GeaLife Motorsport Finish the 2026 Dakar Rally

Sailun Tyre, together with its Italian customer Tagliabue Gomme, made its debut as a tyre partner at the Dakar Rally, the world’s most demanding and prestigious rally event.

S910 Tyres Prove Performance and Reliability Across All Dakar Rally Stages

The Italian team GeaLife Motorsport completed all stages safely and reliably on tyres from Sailun, praising the manufacturer’s strengths. Sailun Tyre congratulates the GeaLife Motorsport rally team on finishing in the Dakar Classic roster at this year’s Dakar Rally.

Two teams, led by Giuseppe Simonato and Giorgio Porello, completed all 13 demanding stages of the rally. They covered 7,281 kilometres, including 4,162 kilometres against the clock, in their Iveco 190 and Magirus ‘Misone’ trucks on Sailun S910 14.00 R20 tyres.”

Both crews praised the off-road tyres for their resilience and stability under the unique, extreme conditions that the Dakar Rally constantly throws at people and equipment.

GeaLife Motorsport Teams Complete Dakar Rally Using Sustainable Fuel

Simonato has been regularly participating in rally raids since the 1990s and founded GeaLife Motorsport in 2024. His crew consists of navigator Wade Syndiely and mechanic Alexander Sorbelli.

The crew of the second GeaLife truck, led by Porello, consists of Simone Casadei (navigator) and Ginaluca Capelli (mechanic) – all three are Dakar rookies. Both trucks ran on biodiesel for the entire rally.
