Hankook will showcase a broad range of commercial vehicle tyres at NUFAM, featuring Laufenn products, Alphatread retreads, and the e-SMART City AU56 for electric buses, while highlighting efficiency, sustainability, and expanded European production.
Hankook Commercial Vehicle Tyres for Every Application
The premium tyre manufacturer will present a wide range of products for trucks and buses at the NUFAM trade fair in Karlsruhe from 25th to 28th September, meeting a broad spectrum of requirements. In addition to new tyres, Hankook will focus on hot-rolled retreaded tyres that combine sustainability with excellent cost-effectiveness.
At its stand in the dm Arena, Stand B403, Hankook will showcase, among other products, treads for hybrid use, hot-rolled retreaded tyres from the Hankook Alphatread brand, and the e-SMART City AU56. Hankook developed its first tyre specifically for all-electric city buses and will also present a selection of products from its sister brand Laufenn at the stand.

“With Reifen Müller, we already have a factory retreading facility for the Alphatread brand in Hammelburg, Germany. The expansion of the European plant in Hungary includes truck and bus tyre production; we can finally meet our customers’ needs with efficient new tyre logistics.”
European Truck and Bus Tyre Production
At the beginning of the year, Hankook celebrated the expansion of its European production facility in Rácalmás, Hungary, with a new production line for truck and bus tyres. The expansion project will increase the production capacity at the site to up to 800,000 units per year starting in 2027.
