ZC Rubber Portfolio at The Tire Cologne
The Tire Cologne 2026 marked an important step in ZC Rubber’s European strategy, with the company showcasing its commercial truck tyre range alongside previews of future product developments planned for 2027, focusing on solutions designed around European transport requirements, including efficiency, durability and year-round performance.
ZC Rubber highlighted its WESTLAKE Gen II commercial tyre range, which has gained recognition among European fleets for mileage and operating efficiency. Featured products included the WESTLAKE WSL2 steer tyre and WDL2+ drive tyre, both developed for long-haul applications.
The WESTLAKE WSL2 has been engineered to deliver stable steering performance, extended mileage and improved fuel efficiency, while its tread design improves pressure distribution, providing even wear, with low-heat compound helping reduce energy loss and extend service life. Enhanced water evacuation and tread protection features further support reliable performance in demanding long-distance operations.
The WESTLAKE WDL2+ drive tyre is designed to provide strong traction, durability and efficiency, while its high-stiffness tread pattern and low-heat compound help reduce rolling resistance, with advanced casing reinforcement technology improving durability under heavy loads. The tyre also features enhanced siping for improved grip in wet and winter conditions.
Looking ahead, ZC Rubber previewed several upcoming products, including the WESTLAKE Z-301 commercial van tyre and future TBR solutions such as the WESTLAKE WTL2 and GOODRIDE M2.
Leo Liao, General Manager of ZC Rubber Europe, said: “The Tire Cologne gave us an important opportunity to show not only a broader product portfolio, but a clearer direction for Europe. We are focusing on products that respond to the way European customers actually drive, operate and make purchasing decisions — from year-round mobility to long-haul efficiency and durability.”
