Trelleborg XP100 Tyre Solution Delivers Maximum Performance and Minimum Waste

Trelleborg Wheel Systems is looking to improve its material handling operations by launching its latest tyre solution for maximum intensity applications with the XP1000.

Tyre Provides Customers Moving Materials Across Ports, Warehouses and Shop Floors

The XP1000 tyre has optimum traction and minimal vibration across ports, warehouses and shop floors to bring added comfort, increased safety, lower fuel consumption and longer tyre life for more cost-effective and sustainable operations.

Luca Sabelli, Product Manager Material Handling at Trelleborg Wheel Systems, commented on the tyre’s attributes: “We have worked hard to make sure our tyres are ready for next-generation material handling vehicles and the intense jobs they’re required to perform. We want to give our customers a high-performance tyre promising greater durability, more stability and comfort while reducing the environmental impact – even when handling heavy-duty jobs. Side-by-Side Performance Comparison Tests against Competitive Tyres show XP1000 Tyre’s Strength

Based on the information froma the side-by-side comparison test, the XP1000 tyre has been found to last 9 per cent longer. Additionally, the tyre has 21 per cent improved endurance and a reported increase in comfort by up to 13 per cent in good news for Trelleborg. Its three internal layers have also been designed for sustainable success: the lightweight tyre features an innovative fibre compound made using recycled materials, saving 866 tons per year on materials while decreasing CO2 emissions by up to 110 tons per year.

The XP1000 also includes Trelleborg’s Pit Stop Line technology which lets operators know the right time to replace their tyres to get the most out of them and reduce waste. Trelleborg’s easy to recognise user-friendly labelling system will help customers when choosing a tyre, based on their requirements and intensity of use. As Trelleborg explains, with its cutting edge tyre technology, machine operators can concentrate on what they need when in the process of selecting a tyre.
