The latest tractor registration figures for the UK from the AEA (Agricultural Engineer’s Association) suggest the market is still in a downward trend that was first identified in June of this year.
UK Market Drops in September
September saw 1070 units of tractors over 50hp registered in the United Kingdom, which represented a 7.7% drop against September 2021. The year-to-date statistics make for similar reading with the mark 5.6% in arrears with 9,297 registrations over the first part of the year.
In our recent interview with Benoit Rivallant, the CEO of Apollo Tyres Europe during their launch of the Flotation Optimall and Endurion Trailer, he suggested that the market was down from the indicators they have seen. This is matched by the recent year-on-year drops in registrations we have seen from July onwards in reports by Fedecom in the Netherlands, the AEA in the UK and ANFAC in Spain.
