Michelin, a leader in the agricultural tyre segment, presented at Agraria 2023, which held its seventh edition from January 24 to 27 at the Valladolid Fair under the motto “Cultivate opportunities, reap benefits”.
Michelin in Agraria 2023: Innovation to Improve
During the fair, in which the Michelin factory in Valladolid took on a special role in the year in which it will celebrate its 50th anniversary, Michelin brought its current range of tyres and solutions to help farmers work efficiently and sustainably throughout the crop cycle.
José María González Ramírez, Head of Agricultural Sales and Michelin Engineering Spain and Portugal, explained at Agraria the Group’s vision of the future; “We want to respond to the challenge of taking advantage of the performance of increasingly powerful and technologically advanced agricultural machinery through a strategy based on innovation.
“Michelin’s leadership in the off-road mobility sector for agriculture, with a complete range of tyres and complementary solutions such as the PTG teleinflation system or the CAMSO track conversion systems, which, together with our range of tyres, help the farmer to improve his productivity and profitability without neglecting his main asset: soil protection”.
Among the representatives of its range of agricultural tyres and exponents of the highest technology when it comes to transmitting power and traction with minimal soil compaction and maximum efficiency, Michelin exhibited at Agraria 2023 the new Michelin EvoBib, a tyre designed to be used
with remote inflation systems that evolves and transforms to offer the best performance both in the field and on the road. The advantages of Michelin Axiobib 2, a versatile VF (Very High Flexion) tyre that improves agronomic performance thanks to Michelin Ultraflex technology, were also shown at the stand; and the Michelin SprayBib CFO, a very low-pressure tyre for self-propelled treatment machines. There was no shortage of Michelin CerexBib 2 tyres, a reference when it comes to equipping the most powerful combine harvesters; or the Michelin TrailXbib, specifically designed for trailers and implements.
Those attending the fair were also able to learn about the advantages of the PTG centralised inflation solution and the latest from CAMSO, a company that has been part of the Michelin Group since 2018, an alliance that resulted in the world leader in OTR mobility (off-road operations), with a wide range of complementary products. CAMSO’s caterpillar conversion systems, as well as those specifically for tractors, increase the mobility and flotation of the machinery for better displacement on fields with soft soils.
