ÖZKA Tyres announced the appointment of Mehmet Yüksel as a new Chief Operating Officer (COO), bringing more than 20 years of experience in the global tyre industry.
About the Appointment
Before joining ÖZKA Tyres, Mehmet Yüksel spent several years in senior positions at Goodyear, within its Luxembourg-based global organisation, gaining experience across manufacturing, engineering, business transformation, investment and sustainability in Türkiye, China, Malaysia and Europe.
During the last 10 years of his career, Yüksel held senior responsibilities at both EMEA and global level within Goodyear’s organisation. Most recently, he served as Global Director, Reliability Engineering, where he led global manufacturing reliability and operational excellence initiatives covering more than 50 manufacturing facilities across the Americas, EMEA and Asia-Pacific. Between 2021 and 2025, Yüksel also served as Global Manufacturing Engineering Operations Director at Goodyear Luxembourg.
In his role as COO at ÖZKA Tyres, Yüksel will be responsible for key functions at the core of ÖZKA’s manufacturing and operational structure, including Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Planning, Investments and Projects, Electrical Systems and Maintenance, Occupational Safety, and Quality Management Systems.
