MAXAM invited visitors to Automechanika from 8 to 12 September in Frankfurt, Germany, to an STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® experience, guided by STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® athletes.
Automechanika 2026
At the joint stand with STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® in Automechanika’s Experience Park, visitors have a chance to find out about MAXAM tyres and experience STIHL TIMBERSPORTS®, guided by active STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® athletes.
“Single Buck” is one of six official STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® disciplines, in which a log is cut through as quickly as possible using a one-man crosscut saw. It is joined by three axe disciplines (Standing Block Chop, Underhand Chop, Springboard) and two chainsaw disciplines (STIHL Stock Saw and Hot Saw – up to 80 hp). The log used in the Single Buck competition is 46 centimetres thick; the world record of 10.47 seconds is held by Canadian Ben Cumberland. The STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® professionals may keep their competitive secrets to themselves, but they’re happy to share tips and tricks for Single Buck newcomers.
MAXAM stated that it shares similar qualities with STIHL TIMBERSPORTS®, focusing on smart performance with precision, fuel efficiency and longevity. The brand’s theme for agricultural tyres displayed at STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® events, “More Pull. Less Fuel.”, represents these principles shared by both MAXAM and the competition itself.
