Falken Tyre’s warranty policy, first presented in the summer of 2020, offering a five-year guarantee from the date of sale for its full range of tyres, including trucks, vans and OE, will continue into 2022.
Warranty Policy Allows Support to Offset Dealer Costs Across Europe
Falken Tyre has been busy assisting drivers through its new warranty policy by helping offset dealer costs if a warranty claim is issued. Since the start of the warranty, Falken has already complied with the claims handling for flat fee increases in Germany, which were proposed by the Bundesverband Reifenhandel und Vulkaniseur-Handwerk e.V., starting August this year.
The manufacturer has also embraced a more digital approach, as new claims can now be submitted through its digital channel from the first half of 2022. Daniel Hupke, Director of Technical Service and Quality Assurance at Falken Tyre, Europe GmbH said of the changes, “When we launched our warranty, it was important to us that our European distributors could process their claims without financial loss. If can make the process even easier with an online tool, it will also save the dealer much needed time in the long run.”
