The strength of a network will be able to compensate for the uncertainties that come from young business starting within an already established industry. On top of this, Belgium is a country in which Goodyear’s network of tyre specialists is very strong. Quiévrain is the area that has been chosen to launch the new programme for entrepreneurs able to benefit from the additional services and investment support from the Vulco franchise.

“The Vulco franchise formula focuses on the development and strengthening of tyre specialists and local garages. The Start-Up concept fits perfectly within these objectives,” explains Ann Ferket, Sales Development Manager and founder of the Vulco Start-Up. The programme will also be aided by the assistance of the Belgian publication Aftersales Magazine.

“Starting a tyre retail business and growing it requires capital and the know-how. Often, start-up entrepreneurs can’t access a franchise formula due to their business size, or, generally due to limited means. So, this is precisely why they can benefit from this crucial advice and welcome financial support. We have developed the Vulco Start-Up concept in order to be able to support promising entrepreneurs from day one,” Ferket adds.

Applicants for this programme will benefit from a three-year period to deploy and develop their business model. During this period, they will be accompanied by a sponsor, who will be a member of the Vulco network. They can also rely on advantageous marketing and sales support, sales and technical training, as well as business advice, inspirational meetings, mystery shopper surveys, coaching and annual quality audits.
