Starting in 2021, there will be a change in the management at Vergölst GmbH, reports Gummibereifung. Frauke Wieckberg will take over the management reins, succeeding Lars Fahrenbach, who will leave the Continental subdivision after four years at the helm. Wieckberg, in her new role, will also be responsible for the ContiTrade companies, based in Austria, Switzerland and Belgium

Wieckberg said of her new position; “It’s a unique and exciting opportunity to lead a traditional company into the future. I am proud not only to observe the transformation of Vergölst from a tyre specialist to a customer-centred full-service provider, but to help shape it.”
Wieckberg is the first woman to head the company and comes equipped with a background in economics. Currently, she is responsible for the Continental Tire replacement business, focusing on customers within the car dealership and truck retail branches.
Paul Williams, head of Continental’s ContiTrade division, added of the appointment, “I’m very happy that we were able to secure Frauke Wieckberg for this managerial role as she brings with her a wealth of experience and expertise, that will be beneficial to our corporate network in numerous ways.”
