Falken Displays TBR Range in Bologna

On display was an extensive selection of the company’s range of products including both light truck and truck tyres.

Gareth Passmore, Falken’s European Business Development Director commented, “Our ultimate objective at this year’s event is to further our presence in both the Italian and European tyre markets and make a significant impact. At the moment Falken is not yet one of the major players in the international sector, but we are constantly working to achieve this level in the future. It was the perfect opportunity to promote our consistently growing brand image.”

Making significant prominence on the stand was Falken’s latest truck and bus tyre range. “In 2017 we started to focus a lot more on our growing TBR range, and it is our firm intention to build up this part of our product portfolio to the same high level as our passenger tyres in due course,” he added.

Tyres on display at the show included the RI 151 steer axle pattern with outstanding all-weather performance, the BI 851 drive axle tyre and the RI 128 which is specifically for long haul and regional applications. Whilst the GI 368 steer and trailer tyre provides firm grip and the GI 388 is considered ideal for all-wheel drive and construction vehicles, GI 378 is another pattern specialising in construction and local transport. Finally, the SI0 011 and SI 021 are both specialist winter TBR patterns for Nordic regions, whilst the RI 151, BI851 SI011 and SI021 all carry the 3-Peak mountain snowflake symbol.
