Impressive Rock Quarry Performance from the Magna MA08

Magna has reported that the 29.5R25 Magna MA08 is delivering impressive performance at a rock quarry in Finland. The tyres were mounted on a Caterpillar 980H wheel loader equipped with a 13.000kg load capacity bucket, where it is feeding a crusher with rock material proceeding from the quarry.

A couple years ago, this customer decided to start working with Manga’s offerings. After 12,000 hours of operation the tyres are still looking good and taking this performance into consideration, the durability is estimated to reach 17,000 working hours.

Magna revealed that, “the customer is very satisfied with the wear resistance, drivability and stability provided by the product.”

The MA08 is designed for use on wheel loaders, dozers and graders requiring maximum traction. The optimized square-shouldered design provides stability and protection from cuts. The aggressive, open tread pattern provides extra traction and stable ground contact.
