20 Years a Customer with Kerr’s Tyres
Regular clients are the bread and butter of any business, but in the tyre trade the customer is fickle and often goes where the price is the deciding factor. So, when Alan Craig bought his first tyre from Antrim based Kerr’s Tyres, it was the beginning of a long-standing client relationship.
20 years since selling its first tyre to Alan Craig, Kerr’s Tyres is delighted to know that their very first client is still bringing his business to the tyre retailer.
Originally opening as Kerr’s Tyres in 2002 with a staff of three, the company’s suite of product offerings has expanded over the last two decades in response to customers’ evolving business expectations and industry demands.
Norman Kerr MD, reflected on the company’s 20th anniversary by saying, “This has been the fastest and most interesting 20 years of my life. We started out with a philosophy of listening to the marketplace, delivering a quality product and providing attentive customer service. Our founding beliefs remain our top priority today and I believe because of that – our company remains viable, strong and growing. Thanks to our leadership team and devoted employees, we have been able to grow and thrive. I am proud to report that our business is solid and that we are looking forward to the next 20 years that lie ahead”
Alan Craig, Kerr’s Tyres very first customer received a luxury hotel voucher as a sign of appreciation. Alan remains a customer to this day, he commented; “When I first came to Kerr’s they only did tyres and batteries , now I come to Kerr’s for everything my cars needs whether it is an MOT or a puncture. My trust in Kerr’s has grown over years and I would like to congratulate them on this great milestone that not many companies get to see. They have come through one of the greatest recessions in the late 2000’s and the Covid pandemic. That is the sign of a great company to come overcome those challenges”.
