The European Tyre and Rubber Manufacturers’ Association (ETRMA) published its members’ replacement tyre sales for the second quarter 2022.

ETRMA: Q2-2022 data calls for caution due to the Ukraine/Russia war

Q2 2022 confirms a positive trend both in the Consumer (+6%) and Truck (+11% – 3,562,000 units) tyres segments compared to 2021.

Commercial Tyre Business is mindful that these figures represent sales post-Covid, where both vehicle and tyre sales were still suffering in 2021, and vehicle mileage over 2022 and 2021 was considerably lower than the norm.
