Giti Tire has appointed two UK truck and bus Regional Sales Managers, with Marc Williams overseeing the South West and Wales and Nick Brown the Midlands.
New Appointments
Marc Williams arrives from GB Tyres, where he held the joint position of Key Account Manager and Brand Development Manager from December 2024. Before that, he worked across ATS Euromaster and Tructyre Fleet Management as an Area Sales Manager.
Nick Brown joins from Kwik Fit GB, where he has worked since January 2018, most recently in the roles of Business Development Manager for Kwik Fit Club UK, Club Product Fleet Owner and Key Account Manager.
Both Williams and Brown will report to Mat Wilkinson, who was appointed at the end of last year as TBR Sales Director UK at Giti Tire with a brief to extend its truck and bus fleet partnerships across the country.
Giti is currently undergoing an expansive product development programme of its truck and bus portfolio, with a whole tranche of tyres coming to market in 2026-27 with vastly improved Rolling Resistance Coefficient (RRC) results and a focus on sustainability to reduce fleets’ CO2 footprints. All new tyres undergo in-depth field tests with leading EU fleets to confirm performance levels in real-life conditions.
“Fleet operators are under increasing pressure to control operating costs while also reducing their environmental impact, and tyres have a vital role to play in achieving both objectives. The current Giti portfolio offers premium-level performance and durability at a price point the fleets value, all while offering tangible sustainability gains through significantly reduced rolling resistance,” Wilkinson said.
“Strengthening our regional sales team with people of the calibre of Nick and Marc, who understand the fleet market, will allow us to get these messages across clearly to operators and their tyre partners and demonstrate how our truck and bus tyres can contribute to more efficient and sustainable fleets,” he added.
