Citira, a circular tyre management provider, is further expanding its network in Sweden by joining forces with five tyre shops across the country.
Tyre Shop Network Continuing to Grow for Citira
In January 2026, Ringtjänst i Uddevalla tyre shop was acquired by Citira, with a goal to improve its service coverage in western Sweden. The company is currently achieving improved growth in the heavy vehicle segment. Strategically located near the intersection of E6 and National Road 44, the acquisition improves Citira’s coverage across key transportation routes in western Sweden.
“Ringjänst i Uddevalla is an important addition to Citira. The strength of the team, combined with an accessible location, will provide clear value for our customers and give us a solid foundation to expand our presence in this part of Sweden. We are pleased to welcome Peter and his team to Citira,” says David Boman, CEO of Citira.
“It is a very exciting time to join Citira. Their presence in the industry keeps increasing rapidly, and we look forward to being part of the journey. For our customers and employees, the transaction means continuity. We will continue with the same team, in the same premises, and with the same focus on delivering world-class service. At the same time, we now gain access to strong support to further develop the business,” says Peter Johansson of Ringtjänst i Uddevalla.
Ringtjänst i Uddevalla will continue to be managed locally, with the same presence and engagement in day-to-day operations, while now gaining access to Citira’s resources and support for continued development. Peter Johansson will become a co-owner of Citira.
Stockholm: Solna Däckservice, Västerås Däck and Arlandastad Däck Join Citira Network
Citira has also acquired Solna Däckservice, a tyre service shop in Kista, north of Stockholm.
“We are very impressed with Fredrik and his team, and we are very happy to be able to welcome them to Citira. Solna Däckservice has a long history as an appreciated Däckia Partner, and we are certain that its quality service will be of even greater value for our customers as part of the Citira group. For Citira, the team and its strong reputation in the industry will be a great asset going forward,” says David Boman.
“My family has run this business for several decades, and we are very proud of what we have built. We see Citira as a great partner that not only will help us develop our business further but at the same time provides continuity for our customers, for whom our team will continue to provide the high level of service we are known for. We look forward to this new journey together with Citira,” says Fredrik Huhtala of Solna Däckservice. Fredrik and his family will become co-owners of Citira.
Västerås Däck and Arlandastad Däck also joined Citira in February this year. Jarl “Jalle” Eriksson founded Västerås Däck in 2008 and expanded the company with the launch of Arlandastad Däck in 2020.
“It is our privilege to welcome Jalle, Fredrik and Sofie to Citira. We look forward to working with them. The Eriksson family has made great achievements with both tyre shops, and we are confident that adding these two service points will improve Citira’s service offering in both regions. We see great value in the experience that the Eriksson family brings and in the potential to operate these tyre shops alongside our current tyre shops in Västerås and Märsta,” says David.
“We are very impressed with what Citira has achieved so far. Their extensive network of tyre shops, broad service offering, and industry experience will ensure that our service standards remain high going forward, while enabling us to focus fully on serving our customers and exploring growth opportunities. We look forward to this partnership,” says Jalle Eriksson of Västerås Däck and Arlandastad Däck.
Gothenburg: TH Pettersson
TH Pettersson, located in the Gothenburg area, also became part of Citira’s network in Sweden. Founded in 1923, TH Pettersson is one of the oldest tyre shops in Sweden, with two tyre shops positioned close to the major traffic and logistics hubs in the Gothenburg area.
“We are very excited that TH Pettersson will join Citira, as we have regarded them as a key player in the Gothenburg area for a long time. The team delivers great service to their customers, which will now come to the benefit of our customers as well. In TH Pettersson, we have a great partner on Sweden’s west coast, which we look forward to further developing and growing together with David, the TH team and Max as a senior advisor,” says David.
“Joining Citira and a group of like-minded colleagues marks an important milestone in our journey while also allowing us to be part of and contribute to this exciting development in our industry. I am confident that under the continued leadership of David Heidenfors, Citira and TH Pettersson will realise our full potential in the region, while allowing us to stay true to our customers, who will find us in the same place with the same team which they have always trusted,” says Max Petersfeldt of TH Pettersson. Max Petersfeldt and Mikael Petersfelt will also become co-owners of Citira.
