The latest data from Spain’s Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) on Spain’s agricultural machinery market shows December delivering strong growth across all major categories and year-to-date data confirming a sustained recovery in investment by the farming sector.
The Latest MAPA Data
According to the latest MAPA data, total agricultural machinery registrations reached 3,740 units in December 2025, representing a 35.16% growth. For the full year, registrations totalled 42,232 units, an increase of 33.71%.
Tractor registrations reached 1,414 units in December, representing a 14.77% increase year on year. Over the full year, 13,511 tractors were registered in 2025, which is a 30.76% growth.
Automotive machinery also recorded strong growth, with 187 registrations in December 2025, representing a 37.50% growth. Year-to-date registrations reached 2,100 units, an increase of 23.38%.
The strongest growth was seen in towed or suspended machinery, where December registrations reached 1,864 units, a 57.70% increase compared with December 2024. For the full year, registrations rose to 22,741 units, up by 38.77%.
Overall, the figures point to a clear rebound in investment across Spain’s agricultural sector, with particularly strong momentum in towed or suspended machinery as farmers continue to modernise and expand their equipment fleets.
