Michelin announced management changes in Spain and Portugal, with María Paz Robina leaving the company after 38 years and César Moñux becoming the new Country Director and President as of 1 April 2026.
The Announcement
After more than seven years in the highest leadership role at Michelin Spain Portugal, and following 38 years of dedication, professional growth and commitment within the Group, María Paz Robina will leave the company in April 2026, handing over responsibilities to César Moñux.
María Paz Robina has held key positions at Michelin, in the areas of quality, manufacturing and human resources. In 2009, she became the first woman to manage a Michelin factory in Spain. She has overseen the Aranda de Duero and Vitoria-Gasteiz plants and, since 2019, has served as Country Director and President of Michelin Spain Portugal. During this period, she has also chaired the Michelin Spain Portugal Foundation, SIGNUS Ecovalor and the Castilla y León automotive cluster (FACYL), among other roles.
“This decision has not been easy. I made it some time ago following careful reflection. I feel it is the right moment from both a personal and professional perspective. I will leave with the satisfaction of having given my very best and with a heart full of gratitude for everything I have experienced,” María stated.
