Boosts Efficiency, Lowers Soil Compaction, and Extends Service Life
Nokian Tyres introduces a new-generation flotation tyre engineered for the changing needs of agricultural transportation. Country King G2 is a high-value trailer tyre for agricultural and general-purpose use, offering reliable performance from field to road.
The next-gen Country King G2 dual-purpose tread ensures balanced performance, reducing power loss on both roads and off-road conditions. It features a wide tread and large overall dimensions, providing increased tread contact in both lateral and longitudinal directions. This results in more efficient weight distribution, minimised soil compaction, and reduced rolling resistance in field conditions.
The non-directional tread design of the Country King G2 also facilitates easy tyre rotation, helping to extend service life.
“Many factors in trailer use and road conditions can cause a wear difference between tyre positions. Tyre rotation can help extend tyre life by evening out wear across the sides,” says Tero Saari, Product Manager at Nokian Tyres.
Flexforce® VF Technology Enhances Load Capacity and Soil Protection
R26.5 sizes feature Nokian Tyres Flexforce® VF technology, well-renowned for its efficiency. Flexforce VF construction offers advanced flotation capabilities for minimised soil compaction and reduced crop damage. It retains the key advantage of VF tyres, which is a higher load capacity with lower pressure than standard flotation tyres, as the load index is 2–4 points higher at the same pressure. Due to Flexforce VF technology, Country King G2 has an advantage over regular VF tyres as it generates larger and more efficient ground contact.
“Unlike other VF flotation tyres on the market, Country King G2 VF can handle up to 4 bars of pressure. They can be used with standard pressure, but when paired with CTIS, they allow for a much wider range of pressure adjustment. This means lower pressures in the field to protect the soil and higher pressures on the road for excellent stability,” Saari says.
Country King G2 Available in Seven Key Sizes
The new Country King G2 will become available between Q4 2025 and Q1 2026 in a family of seven sizes. The available sizes are: VF600/55R26.5, VF620/60R26.5, VF650/55R26.5, 560/60R22.5, 600/50R22.5, 650/50R22.5 and 710/45R22.5.
Nokian Tyres will showcase the new Country King G2 tyre at the Agritechnica 2025, where Visitors can see the tyre firsthand at stand 20B05.
Manufactured in Finland with Key Flag and Design Marks
