Kumho Tyre UK has concluded its debut at the 2025 Road Transport Expo (RTX), showcasing its latest range of commercial vehicle (CV) tyres to fleet operators and industry professionals.
Kumho at RTX
The Kumho team at RTX has welcomed visitors from across the transport sector to explore how Kumho tyre technology aims to help reduce total cost of ownership, while increasing safety and maximising fleet performance through intelligent design and engineering.
Kumho displays five products for steer, drive, and all-position applications: XA31, XD31, XS10, MD41, and MA12. The visitors were particularly interested in two of Kumho’s latest innovations:
- XD31 (Drive Position) – Designed for regional and highway use, it features 3D interlocking sipes and Kumho’s proprietary RevealiX Groove technology to deliver traction and drainage throughout the tyre’s lifespan. A dual tie-bar design provides enhanced stability, while the low-rolling-resistance compound supports improved fuel efficiency and reduced emissions.
- XA31 (All Position) – Built for longevity and versatility, the XA31 uses a directional tread pattern with a Tread Wear Balanced Bridge to combat uneven wear and enhance grip as the tyre ages. Engineered for quieter, more comfortable driving, it also resists stone trapping and delivers a long service life.
Richard Lyons, Managing Director of Kumho Tyre UK, commented: “RTX 2025 was a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with fleet professionals and demonstrate how Kumho can support their safety and cost-saving goals. It was clear that our message around reducing the total cost of ownership while maintaining top-tier performance resonated strongly. We’re proud of the feedback we received and look forward to continuing those conversations in the months ahead.”
