German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) has published its monthly figures on commercial vehicle registrations in Germany, showing bus registrations as the only category that has been on the rise in May 2025.

According to the latest VDA monthly figures, there were a total of 27,611 new commercial vehicle registrations in Germany in May 2025, representing a 7% decline. From January 2025 to May 2025, VDA recorded 137,692 registrations, which is 14% less than in the same period last year.
