The first-ever UK edition of Tractor Driver of the Year took place at Prestwold Hall, Leicestershire. It showcased the skills of talented tractor drivers across four challenges, where Trelleborg tyres truly came to life.
Trelleborg Tires Hosts Its First UK Tractor Driver of the Year
Trelleborg Tires hosted the first UK Tractor Driver of the Year competition on 16th October 2025 at Prestwold Hall, Leicestershire.
Talented UK tractor drivers competed in hands-on challenges testing their agility, accuracy, and control behind the wheel. The four challenges — hoisting, precision parking, manoeuvring, and reverse manoeuvring — pushed participants to demonstrate true tractor mastery on Valtra tractors fitted with Trelleborg Tires.
Mitchell Oldershaw Crowned Tractor Driver of the Year UK 2025
Mitchell Oldershaw won the Tractor Driver of the Year UK 2025 title after a full day of competition. He completed all challenges in 8 minutes and 49 seconds. His performance earned him the title and the grand prize — the Everyman Racing Platinum Package.
Oldershaw said, “A big thank you to everyone for organising such a great event. It’s been a fantastic day — I came for the fun and didn’t expect to win! I’m already looking forward to coming back next year to defend the title!”
A Day Powered by Trelleborg Tires and Valtra
The event was powered by Trelleborg Tires, in technical partnership with Valtra, who supplied a range of tractors for the competition — including the Valtra T255V, N175D, Q265, and S416 — all fitted with Trelleborg TM1000 ProgressiveTraction and Trelleborg TM1060 tyres.
Chandlers FE Ltd provided the course trailers, while Everyman Racing hosted the driving challenges. Prestwold Hall offered the perfect backdrop for a day filled with energy, teamwork, and community spirit.
