The Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI) Motorstats report showed a significant increase in LCV registrations in October 2025.
The Latest SIMI Motorstats Numbers
In October 2025, there was a total of 1,692 LCV registrations in Ireland, according to SIMI, representing a 41.59% growth. Year-to-date data was also positive, with a 3.94% increase, totalling 31,444 units. Ford, Volkswagen and Renault were among the top 3 most registered brands in Ireland in October 2025.
When it comes to the types of LCVs registered, vans totalled 25,810 units from January 2025 to October 2025, which represents a 0.60% change. Pick-up registrations grew by 32.76%, with 2,006 units, while crew cab registrations grew by 51.69% from January 2025 to October 2025, with 945 units.
