Nokian Tyres Hakkapeliitta Truck D2 is the new member of the Hakkapeliitta Truck D family for regional and medium to long-haul usage, with improved wear resistance compared to its predecessor.

The Nokian Tyres Hakkapeliitta Truck D2 is a drive axle tyre that offers several upgrades in performance and durability to its predecessor, the Hakkapeliitta Truck D tyre. The tread compound of Nokian Tyres Hakkapeliitta Truck D2 is the result of the new mixing technology, combining wear resistance with grip.
“Our extensive testing shows that this tyre can deliver up to 20% better wear resistance. This directly lowers the total cost of ownership”, says Teppo Siltanen, Senior Product Manager at Nokian Tyres.
The new tyre provides improved grip and stability, especially on winter roads, thanks to its dense, new type of 3D siping and the patented “Twin-Block” tread structure, maintaining its grip properties even when worn.
Nokian Tyres Hakkapeliitta Truck D2 is significantly sturdier compared to its predecessor, making it suitable for high-powered vehicles. Its flexible tread pattern is designed for winter conditions while remaining firm enough to manage the torque produced by powerful vehicles. The tyre will be available in three sizes in early 2026. Suitable for both trucks and buses, it offers versatile applications and is also available as a Noktop precured tread for retreading.
