Prometeon revealed its new R02 Proway range, designed to deliver improved mileage performance and versatility for commercial vehicle operators across all applications.
R02 Proway Range
Following its UK debut at Road Transport Expo last year, the new Prometeon R02 PRoway range, launched last autumn in Istanbul, combines advanced technologies that deliver up to a 10% improvement in key performance indicators such as mileage, wet handling, and snow grip, compared to its predecessor range.

Our testing shows it outperforms the previous generation of tyres in crucial areas such as wet braking and handling, while delivering the enhanced mileage that operators demand for optimising their total cost of ownership.”
The new range features several innovative technologies, including a new generation tread compound that reduces heat generation for improved fuel efficiency while maintaining wet grip performance. The range also incorporates RFID technology as standard, enabling simplified fleet management and tyre tracking capabilities.
Including both drive and steer axle variants, key features of the new range include:
- Enhanced mileage performance through optimised footprint design
- Improved wet handling and braking characteristics
- Full winter capability with 3PMSF certification
- Increased load capacity up to 158/150L for 315/70R22.5 & 315/80R22.5 sizes
- Embedded RFID technology for improved fleet management
- Advanced four-belt construction for enhanced durability
Available in key sizes including 315/60R22.5, 315/70R22.5, 315/80R22.5, and 295/80R22.5, the R02 PROWAY is designed for regional and long-haul applications.
