Hankook introduced its new Smart Work AM11+, a tyre specifically designed for commercial vehicles used in regional and local distribution transport within the UK market.

The new Hankook tyre is specially designed for applications that involve a lot of stopping and starting, as well as increased demands for robustness, such as the waste management sector, where the vehicles regularly make contact with kerb edges.
With this in mind, a key feature of the Hankook tyre is the reinforced sidewall with built-in abrasion protection and special indicators. This construction provides effective protection for the tyres against kerb contact, making it easier to check for signs of wear. Three wear indicators on the side of the tyre enable quick wear checks, enhancing safety in daily use.
The new tyre model will be available from September in the size 315/80 R22.5.
