MAXAM Tire has expanded its MS501 MineXtra range with a new 45/65R45 L5 tyre. It is engineered for superior durability and performance in demanding mining and quarrying environments.
Enhanced Design for Extreme Mining Conditions
MAXAM Tire announces the release of the MS501 MineXtra in a new 45/65R45 size. Designed for L5 wheel loaders and heavy-duty mining machinery, this launch further strengthens its strong reputation within the OTR industry. Designed for harsh mining and aggregate operations, the new 45/65R45 MS501 delivers a durable, long-lasting solution for L5 applications.
Engineered for the toughest conditions in mining and quarrying, the MS501 features an extra-deep, open L5 offset lug pattern with staggered tread blocks, delivering excellent wear and damage resistance across all off-road conditions. In addition, the MS501 incorporates a square shoulder design and wide footprint to maximise stability and ride comfort. To enhance cut resistance, the MS501 includes a reinforced bead, shoulder, and sidewall.
Maximising Durability and Productivity
To minimise downtime, MAXAM has integrated a cut- and tear-resistant compound into the tyre, ensuring the lowest cost-per-hour for operations worldwide.
“Focusing on maximising the resilience and durability of L5 applications in the toughest environments, we aim to enhance operational productivity. With the off-the-road market facing increasing demands and new technological advancements in equipment, the addition of the 45/65R45 MS501 further demonstrates MAXAM’s commitment to designing only the most capable solutions for the industry,” says Matt Fagan, Director of R&D at MAXAM Tire North America.
