MAXAM Recognised at Agritechnica 2025 with Prestigious DLG Quality Seal

Harry Wang, General Manager MAXAM Europe and Prof. Till Meinel, Vice President DLG presenting the DLG Approved seals for MAXAM agricultural tyres AgriXtra XL and AgriXtra XL VF.

MAXAM AgriXtra XL tyres earn DLG Approved seals for superior fuel efficiency, traction, and reduced soil compaction.

AgriXtra XL VF Tyres Awarded DLG Seal

At the world-leading agricultural trade fair Agritechnica 2025 in Hanover, Germany, MAXAM received the DLG Approved seal of quality from the Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft (DLG; German Agricultural Society) for two of its agricultural tyres. The DLG recognised the tyres for their greater fuel savings and improved traction, and also awarded the VF version for soil protection, enhancing overall productivity.

MAXAM is proud that the Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft (DLG; German Agricultural Society) awarded the DLG Approved quality seal to both the AgriXtra XL and AgriXtra XL VF. The global manufacturer of agricultural and speciality tyres officially received the certificates at this year’s Agritechnica from DLG Vice President Prof. Till Meinel and Martin Hanstein, Head of Vehicle Technology and Performance Testing at DLG TestService GmbH.

AgriXtra XL Tyres Deliver Enhanced Traction, Fuel Savings, and Soil Protection

The award of the DLG seal of approval underscores the outstanding qualities of MAXAM’s innovative radial agricultural tyres. They are the result of sustainability-oriented product development and a combination of technological advantages.

The DLG award confirms MAXAM’s intentions and technological developments, which aim to offer not only optimised product performance through reduced soil compaction, improved traction, and greater fuel savings, but also higher added value for farmers and agricultural businesses.

Independent DLG Tests Confirm High Performance and Resource Efficiency of MAXAM Tyres

Last year, the DLG Test Centre for Technology and Operating Supplies, an independent German testing institute, tested the tyres in field, on-road, and laboratory trials using a dynamometer.

Both the MAXAM AgriXtra XL VF and the standard tyres, in sizes 600/70R30 (front axle) and 710/70R42 (rear axle), achieved excellent results compared to reference products. The test results underscore that MAXAM delivers high performance in the categories of “resource conservation” (VF product, soil compaction), “fuel economy” (improved productivity) and “traction” (reduced slip rates).

“We are delighted that the independent experts and testers at DLG have confirmed the premium quality and performance of our tyres. As an integral part of our expansion strategy, we are striving for further growth in our agricultural tyre business,” said Harry Wang, General Manager MAXAM Europe.

“Our MAXAM AgriXtra XL products in VF and standard carcass construction are excellent examples of how our technology and engineering can help farmers achieve greater value by efficiently reducing their fuel costs, increasing productivity, and reducing soil compaction (VF) -we call that smart performance.”
