Westlake Wishes Initiative Launched
In front of an audience of over 30 Westlake distributor partners from across Europe especially flown in for the conference, Harjeev Kandhari joined together with Mr. Ge Guorong (CEO of Westlake) in introducing the newly established ‘Westlake Wishes’ foundation. Kandhari and Ge also formally announced the foundation’s first initiative. For every set of tyres sold in the United Kingdom, Al Dobowi will provide a free three course meal served to some of the poorest families in India. The company will ensure that a minimum of 150,000 meals are served in one single day. “As our Westlake sales increase in the U.K. we will increase the number of meals provided”, he declared.

In highlighting its latest initiative, the Infinity Tyres Foundation is delighted to offer its support to Mothers2Mothers (m2m), a South African organisation founded in 2001, guided by the simple, but powerful, premise that mothers are the key to ending AIDS in childhood and sustaining the long-term health of women and children in the communities affected by this condition.
m2m believes in the power of women to help prevent mother-to- child transmission of HIV and create health and hope for themselves and their children, families and communities. The organisation
empowers mothers living with HIV through education and employment, and assists them in becoming role models to help other women access essential services and medical care.
