Linglong Tire Showcases Groundbreaking Innovations and Future Strategies at Global Partners Conference
Under the motto “Linglong 50 – Always Forward”, Linglong Tire held the Global Partners Conference 2025 last week at the company’s headquarters in Zhaoyuan, China, on the company’s 50th birthday.
The meeting brought together tyre experts and industry insiders from around the world to look back on the last 50 years of the company’s history and provide an outlook for the future, with a focus on strategies for sustainable innovation.
Keynote Speech by Linglong President and CEO Praises 50-Year History
In his keynote speech, President and CEO Wang Feng summarised the development of Linglong since its founding in 1975: from its beginnings as a small factory on the Jiaodong Peninsula to its current position as a global player and leading tyre manufacturer with exports to 173 countries. Wang thanked all consultants, partner universities, financial institutions, suppliers, and customers, emphasising that it was only through their support, mutual trust, and enduring cooperation that such successful development was possible.
Looking to the future, Wang Feng outlined Linglong’s goals to become an even larger and more successful company, always focusing on customers and their needs. The company will concentrate on building an open, smart, synergistic, global industrial ecosystem to promote efficient collaboration along the entire value chain with the help of technological innovations.
Advancing Green Tech and Global Partnerships
The conference featured high-level dialogues on green and smart transformations within the tyre industry. At the ceremony, Linglong honoured long-standing partners such as Bekaert and VMI for their continued support. Numerous guests, including Maja Stefanovic, the Serbian Ambassador to China, and Academician Zhang Liqun, praised Linglong’s leading role in promoting international cooperation and new technologies, which were presented at the conference and underline Linglong’s efforts for sustainable development, including:
- Tyres made from 79% bio-based, sustainable materials, increasing resource efficiency
- Self-healing, intelligent tyres that enhance proactive safety, with an intelligent self-repair system taking tyre safety to a new level
- Air-free tyre technology for future mobility ecosystems
Strengthening Global Alliances for a Smarter, Greener Supply Chain
Linglong Tire has also signed several strategic agreements with leading institutions and companies. The collaborations, which include the use of new materials, green energies, and digitalisation, signal a shift from traditional supply chain relationships to an integrated ecosystem along the entire value chain.
