Goodyear Puts Farming Families First

Goodyear Farming Families First

Goodyear is proud to further strengthen its commitment to the agricultural community by announcing that Goodyear Farm Tires will be a key partner of this year’s British Farming Awards.

Family First For Goodyear Farm Tyres

Given Goodyear’s history, expertise and heritage, it is fitting that the company will be sponsoring the Family Farming Business of the Year category.

Goodyear knows that, right across the UK, there are families which devote their entire lives to their farming business to help secure its future for decades to come and the company will be excited to crown a winner at the Vox Conference Centre in Birmingham in October.

Natalie Dukes, Marketing and Communications Manager for Goodyear Farm Tires said; “The British Farming Awards is a stand-out event on the agricultural calendar and we are delighted to be playing our part in celebrating the excellence which drives agriculture in the UK.

“Our strapline is ‘Generations of Growth’, and that perfectly reflects why we have chosen to sponsor the Family Farming Business of the Year category.

“In our history which spans back over 120 years, we have been trusted for generations by farming families across the UK, and we are delighted to be celebrating their success with this award.”

Goodyear is proud to support families and the wider farming community in the UK with an extensive range which includes 85, 70, 65 and XL series Tractor Drive Radials, as well as specific designs for sprayers, harvesters and industrial applications.

Dukes added; “We have a mission to support farmers every step of the way in improving productivity and crop yield by providing a range of agricultural tyres that deliver class-leading durability, performance and value.

“Farming families have repeatedly proved themselves to be champions at creating agricultural practices that are highly productive, innovative and sustainable.

“They make a strong and vital contribution to food security and sovereignty, as well as creating employment and strengthening the economy of rural areas.

“The beneficial contribution of farming family businesses is undeniable.”
