The AEA (Agricultural Engineers Association) has published the monthly registration figures for agricultural machinery in the UK for August.

+0.6% Year-on-Year Growth for Tractors

For August the AEA has revealed that for tractors over 50BHP, there 834 units registered which was an increase of +0.6% against 2021’s standpoint. The AEA have also pointed out that this is “only slightly ahead” of the August average for the previous 5 years.

As for the year-to-date numbers, following August 8,227 units were now registered meaning that the market is still -5.4% down on 2021 at the same stage. The AEA confirms this is due to ongoing supply issues that continue to delay the delivery of tractors to customers.
