German CV Figures for August 22 Published by VDA

Exports down for the year but up for the month by 91.2 per cent

A mixed bag of results for the German CV sector as numbers still struggle to catch up on 2021

German CV Figures Largely Depressed for September

German CV registrations for September 2022 have largely shown an across-the-board decline, with the exception of CV over 3.5 tons. In the over 3.5 ton ranges, including semi-trailers, there have been increases of up to 25 per cent in volume compared to the previous September in 2021.

However, semi-trailer aside, the year-to-date is still down on the previous year.

Exports of sub 6-ton CVs are down for the year but showed a 91.2 per cent increase on the same month in 2021. Production of sub 6-ton CVs was up by 26.6 per cent in September, though still down by 14 per cent year-on-year.
