Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles are ready to go for the approvals ex works for Continental’s AllSeasonContact and EcoContact 6 for its VW Caddy. The tyres have low rolling resistance and an ‘A’ EU tyre label due to their high energy efficiency.
VW Sees Benefits of Continental Tyres
Continental’s AllSeasonContact tyre has been developed to provide optimum grip and maximum safety for both summer and winter. Auto Bild commented on the tyre that it was an “exemplary” tyre.
The EcoContact 6 for the Caddy is also being fitted. An energy-efficient tyre with good braking performance and good handling on wet roads. The EcoContact 6 recently demonstrated its energy efficiency in the Auto Zeitung summer tyre test, where it won out against nine other products from European, Asian and American manufacturers in the rolling resistance test, scoring the “Fuel-economy recommendation” award by the editorial team.
Finally, the WinterContact TS 870 will also be fitted for the VW Caddy. The tyre boasts impressive characteristics in all weather conditions, with short braking distances, steering precision and good safety reserves. The winter tyre was most recently named test winner in the major winter tyre test by Auto Bild in 2021.
