BKT is continuing its partnership with LaLiga as Official Global Partner, which begun in 2019, through to the 2024/25 season.
BKT Continues Varied Sports Sponsorship
Continuing its varied sponsorship in basketball, cricket and rugby, BKT will continue sponsoring LaLiga, which it notes is one of the world’s most-followed championships and a great way of increasing its brand awareness worldwide.
Lucia Salmaso, CEO of BKT Europe, said: “We are thrilled and proud of pursuing our journey alongside LaLiga. I like the idea that we are two important entities, each in its respective market, that are able to see beyond a simple marketing operation, rendering instead joint and mutual inspiration. Óscar Mayo, Executive General Director at LaLiga, also added "LaLiga's partnership with BKT over the last three years has allowed us to help them to significantly increase its global exposure through our fans and audiences. Salmaso concluded that Spain is a strategic country for the Indian manufacturer, commenting that it's “a country we consider strategic and highly important in terms of business”. Spain indeed fits well for BKT, as it’s a big European market with plenty of need for agriculture tyres.
