Continental is presenting its industrial tyre portfolio at the World of Material Handling of Linde Material Handling GmbH.
Continental Exhibits It's Industrial Tyre Portfolio For Forklifts
From June 20 to July 1, Continental will be presenting its CS20+, SC20+ and CSEasy SC20+ forklift truck tyres at the in-house exhibition of its long-standing partner in Mannheim. Every two years, numerous well-known suppliers with whom Linde works closely come together at the World of Material Handling. The operation of industrial trucks in intralogistics requires high mileage and reliability of the tyres, for example due to shift work.
Continental's Super-Elastic tyres are characterised by their special stability. The Continental Plus compound also ensures low rolling resistance. The lower heat development in the tyre thus leads to increased energy efficiency. With its portfolio of industrial tyres, Continental responds to different customer needs. With its unique double-L profile with closed shoulders, the CS20+ not only ensures precise steering and cornering behavior, but also minimises disruptive vibrations for better driving comfort and safety.
The characteristic tread design of the SC20+ is based on the special combination of longitudinal grooves and large blocks. The numerous grip edges enable good traction on any surface. The CSEasy SC20+ will also be on display at World Material Handling. With its unique adapter system, the tyre makes assembly much easier, since the CSEasy adapter can be loosened with a simple Allen key, making the vehicles independent of assembly services.
The World of Material Handling offers a good opportunity to demonstrate the tailor-made portfolio for industrial trucks live. Linde Material Handling is part of the KION Group, which shares a history with Continental as a long-standing technological partner and has a special focus on quality and safety. For many years, Linde Material Handling has relied on solid tyres from Continental as part of its original equipment. In France and other French-speaking countries, Continental also supplies LMH products under the Fenwick brand. Together, Continental and Linde Material Handling even made it into the Guinness Book of World Records in 2018 with the fastest tyre change in the world at the 14th Forklift Cup in Aschaffenburg.
