Adding to its solid tyre lineup at its new automation factory, MAXAM Tire has unveiled its EcoPoint3 compound. Combining automotive and manufacturing technology this compound will help bring the performance and durability of MAXAM’s material handling products to a new level.

MAXAM’s New Factory to Increase Existing Production Volume and Consistency Through Advanced Automotion

“After several years of research and development of high-performance rubber materials, the Eco-Visco-Elastomer Composite, EcoPoint3 compound elevates the organisation to a new level of global competitiveness,” explains Troy Kline, President of MAXAM Tire North America.

Compared to carbon black compounds and conventional dry-mixed silica compounds, the EcoPoint3 process provides superior distribution of ingredients during the mixing process. This new process allows MAXAM’s compounds to contain less inert filler, higher ratios of stress at elongation, and minimal proportions of impurities resulting in what the manufacturer calls ‘next generation’ products.

Advanced Technological Breakthroughs Driving MAXAM on

The EcoPoint3 technology is designed not only to improve a tyre’s rolling resistance but enhance skid and wear resistance, producing a stronger, safer, more energy-efficient tyre that delivers a comfortable ride. The new technology also represents a breakthrough in green and low-carbon tyre development, from the raw materials selection, manufacturing, and product life cycle, while significantly reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions, resulting in significant performance enhancements for MAXAM customers.

“Customer satisfaction is the foundation of MAXAM’s philosophy. That is why we continue to innovate in all aspects of our business. Building upon our strong relationship with dealers, this new factory was a critical addition in terms of increasing production efficiency and quality. The improvement in production efficiency and EcoPoint3 technological advancement is a way of showing our commitment to being the trusted business solutions provider our customers deserve. This includes proving that our factories are there for them,” adds Jimmy McDonnell, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for MAXAM Tire North America.

With an anticipated increase in production capacity, MAXAM’s new plant will increase the timeframe for new products, including all production for solid tyres, to be ready to meet the growing demand.
