EU Sanctions on Russian Rubber to Effect Nokian Tyres

Nokian Tyres has confirmed that it is currently studying the newly imposed sanctions in detail, and continues to implement contingency plans. Nokian Tyres PLC is expediting its plans to invest in new production capacity in Europe as communicated on March 30, 2022.

The company continues to increase production capacity at their factories in Nokia, Finland and Dayton, USA. The Heavy Tyres business of Nokian Tyres PLC is not impacted by the ban to import tyres from Russia to the EU, as all Nokian Tyres heavy tyres are produced in Finland.
