The deadline for Los Premios Hevea has now been finalised with candidates wanting to participate having until 6 October to enter. The list of nominees for the 20 categories will be announced on 11 October. Each category will consist of 5 nominees and will be voted for by the industry, with the final vote certified by a notary.
Los Premios Hevea Opens the Nominations for the 2021 Awards
For the third edition of Los Premios Hevea, candidates can now apply to be nominated for one of the 20 awards available at the specialist awards ceremony. Sponsored and organised by EuroPneus and jointly organised by Motortec Madrid, the Spanish tyre industry awards are committed to honouring the work of those dedicating themselves to improving road safety and innovating tyre technology within the sector.
Taking precautions for Covid-19, the ceremony will take place on 27 January 2022 at the spacious IFEMA Convention Centre, in Madrid. With 20 categories, the third edition of Los Premios Hevea will be bigger than the second edition, which featured 19 categories.

- Best Workshop of the Year
- Best Innovation in Technology and Business

- Best 4×4 SUV Tyre
- Best Truck Tyre
- Best Agricultural Tyre
- Best OTR Tyre
- Best Two-Wheel Tyre
- Best Premium Tyre Brand
- Best Quality Tyre Brand
- Best Budget Tyre Brand
- Best Company Director
- Best Tyre Manufacturer
Of the 20 awards, four of the categories this year are new awards created for the third edition. These awards are for the Best Service Provider, Regional Tyre Dealer Best Innovation in Technology and Business and Best Ecological Solution which celebrates the candidate most committed to advancing its circular economy through sustainable mobility. The 20 categories will be rounded off by a separate Road Safety Award, as well as an Honour Award, which will be sponsored and awarded to the work of entities and/or persons who have helped advanced the work of the Spanish tyre sector throughout the years.
Additionally, there will be a Lifetime Achievement Award which will be directly granted by the EuroPneus team as a token of appreciation to an individual who has strived to improve the sector as well as for the company they have worked for.
Awards Chosen for the Sector by the Sector
Los Premios Hevea are known throughout the Spanish tyre sector for being awards that are voted for by the tyre sector itself and validated under a notary.
David Moneo, IFEMA Mobility Director celebrated the opening of nominations by saying: “Motortec Madrid will once again host Los Premios Hevea. The sector’s recovery and resilience are thanks to the innovative capabilities that were introduced to face the challenges of Covid-19.”
Moneo adds that he expects to see the signs of recovery first-hand for the upcoming edition of Motortec Madrid, which will be held in person during 20-23 April 2022. “Motortec Madrid will be the not-to-be-missed automotive show for all automotive professionals, and we warmly invite all the attendees and potential nominees of Los Premios Hevea to attend Motortec Madrid 2022.
